Broken Ties available in Spanish – Lazos Rotos

It feels a little like I do nothing except post about book translations, but I’m still so excited about having my work available for so many more people to read in a multitude of languages. So much work goes on in the background to achieve this and I have to say thank you, thank you once again to Eva María Medina Cabanelas and Patricia M Begona for all their help on this. They translated Aversion and Other Slipper into Spanish and yet found time in their busy schedules to read through this and provide invaluable support. And, of course, a massive thanks to Vanessa Marisol Vargas Trejo for getting the job done!

Spread the word people, and I do hope you enjoy the story!

Dissuasão – Aversion in Portuguese

It’s that time again! Thanks to the wonderful world of Babelcube, the (Brazilian) Portuguese version of Aversion, “Dissuasão”, is now available to purchase at all major online retail stores.

The process began with Nathalia Carvalho’s 2016 translation of Broken Ties, Laços Rompidos, where she aptly coined the word Dissuasão for Aversion (since Aversão didn’t quite feel right), and then translated the first chapter, paving the way for Bárbara Bressan to continue with the series. I am so pleased Bárbara was able to work on this story because she showed so mush resilience and dedication even when we faced a number of setbacks. I truly look forward to working with her again! I also can’t thank Jose Serranito enough for taking out time to read through both books and making corrections at the end stages. His help has been brilliant and his generosity will never be forgotten. And finally, a huge thanks to Tom Jay for providing the updated cover for this version, once again.

So what are you waiting for? Time to click away and spread the word. Thanks again everyone. Next stop, more from the series in Spanish!

And…it’s out! Keepers – Book Three of The Mentalist Series

keepers-cover

I won’t say much in this post as I have been going on about this for months but, KEEPERS is finally out! I’m so grateful to everyone who has helped throughout this process – Okey, Neso, Dumebi, Pi-lin, Chizoba, Cherese, Farah and Donna – you guys are absolute rock stars! If Oscars/BAFTAs (insert award ceremony as you feel appropriate) were being given out right now, y’all would be on the stage with me, glowing but trying not to gloat too much, heehee. Mario, Frances and Nnenna, thanks for commenting on the cover and listening to me worry endlessly about the right level of blue to include for the mist! Mum, Dad, Chi, Ekechi and Dana your emotional support has literally been lifesaving. I love you all and really hope all your faith in my work will not be in vain. I’ll shut up now.

Keepers (Mentalist Series #3) Cover Reveal and Release Date

It’s taken much longer than I thought to get here (yes, its been two and a half years since the release of Broken Ties – what!!??!!), but it’s finally done! Sort of…last few edits are still happening but methinks it’s safe to finally announce a release date for the third (and final) book in the Mentalist Series! If you’re a little confused as there are already three released books, Broken Ties is the series prequel so it’s technically book 0.5. But I digress! My Facebook and Twitter followers were treated to a peek of the cover of Keepers on Thursday Continue reading

Author Interview on German Blog – Lora Liest

It feels like forever since I last participated in an author interview, so when I was asked to do so by German blogger Loralee of Lora Liest, I was pretty excited to put on my thinking-hat once again. Here are links to the post in German and also in English.
