2017 Translations – The Other Slipper in Español

Last year I mentioned I have a few more translations in the pipeline for release this year. The good news is, as well as Spanish, German and Portuguese translations, I’m branching out into Italian! Really excited as the first Italian translation will be for The Other Slipper, which hasn’t had a lot of mention recently with all the buzz around the Mentalist Series. But I really do think it’s worth sharing in other languages as I love Jo’s adventure story.

So, to start off the year I’m pleased to announce the release of The Other Slipper in Spanish – El Otro Zapato. This is the first translation of The Other Slipper and I am immensely grateful to Patricia M. Begona for carrying out the translation. And, of course, to the fabulous Eva Maria Medina Cabanelas, who translated Aversion into Spanish and spent time helping Patricia edit this book – what would I do without you? Also a special thanks to Ruth Benitez for all her contributions with this too. You guys continue to amaze me with your generosity.

Well here it is! As always, please spread the word and I do hope you enjoy the story in whatever language you discover it.

A bit early but…Goodbye 2013!

This is my last post for the year. It’s been a busy, busy one and I’m grateful to everyone who has stuck with me through it all. Two books released this year, a blog tour, cover reveal, lots of giveaways, a couple of book cover revamps. And let’s not forget, lots of random posts about the craziness in my head. I hope I’ve succeeded in keeping you all marginally entertained. I thought I should end the year on a high, so here’s the revamped cover for The Other Slipper, which I put out last week. Hope you like it. Merry Christmas everyone and have a fabulous New Year!

This Week In Kenny’s World…

aversion paperbackSo much has happened in the last few weeks but nothing gave me as much joy as I felt when I received the proof copy of Aversion’s paperback on Monday. After a few tweaks (and gasps at my formatting oversights) it is now available for purchase via Amazon for all ye technophobes at a very attractive price of $6.99 (£4.52). The e-book is still only $0.99 (£0.77) so if you ever decide to join us screen squinters, you’ve got that option too.

In other related news, I reached the 10,000 words mark of Sentient (Book Two of The Mentalist Series) this week. Really excited about the way the story is going and I can’t wait to share it with my beta readers in a few months time.

Also, the lovely Becky of Barmy Becky Book Blog reviewed The Other Slipper and you can check out what she thought here.

Finally, I’m thinking of starting a new feature on the blog (possibly from next week) but it’s still under consideration so I’ll let you guys know what it’s all about as soon as I’m certain it’s going ahead.

Take care everyone.

“Aversion” Blog Tour Round-Up

First of all, I’d like to thank everyone who participated in this tour in some form or another – bloggers, reviewers and readers. Thirteen days went by much quicker than I thought they would and I was slightly shocked to find myself sending out the last post yesterday.  I had a lot of fun reading what people had to say and I hope you all did too. Hopefully people have learnt a little bit more about “Aversion” and its characters and will spread the word about it. Some giveaways are still running so if you want to enter for a chance to win an e-copy of Aversion or The Other Slipper, click away. UK entrants are also eligible to win a paperback copy of The Other Slipper.
